Here is this week's round-up for Australia and the US: upcoming shoots with entry details out, recent results, and the archery at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games. Every event links to its page on Archery Calendars, where you'll find the full details and the entry link.

2027 Australian Open Field Championships: April 21-26, 2027, Hills Archers, Lenswood SA. Archery Australia says entries open in November 2026. Teams of three and mixed team pairs must be registered before the entry deadline. Event page

RECENT RESULTS

Australia: National Target and Para Championships, Hobart, October 19-24. Individual gold medals went to Seoyoon An (recurve women), Jai Crawley (recurve men), Vida Halimian (compound women), Matt McDougall (compound men), May Hu (barebow women) and Judah Holmes (barebow men). Compound archer Jono Milne took his third consecutive win in the 90m 1440 round, scoring 1401. Full recap from Archery Australia

USA: Para Pan American Championships, Lima, Peru. The US team came home with 10 medals, five of them gold. KJ Polish won three golds and set three championship records. Report from USA Archery

USA: NATIONAL ARCHERY SCHOLARSHIP TOUR

16 National Archery Scholarship Tour (NAST) indoor shoots run from November 8, 2026 to January 3, 2027. Each is a 60-arrow indoor round at 18 m, with 14U, 19U, Collegiate (30 and under) and Adult (20 and over) classes. Entry details are on each event page. Registration closes at 5:00 PM local time (EST, CST or PST, as shown on each event page) on the closing date, or earlier if the shoot fills.

USA: 58TH USA ARCHERY INDOOR NATIONALS AND 2027 JOAD INDOOR NATIONALS

18 events across 17 locations, from January 8 to March 7, 2027. The two events run on the same weekend at each site (Chula Vista on February 5-7 is Indoor Nationals only). You must be a USA Archery member to enter; non-US citizens enter the Guest category.

First up:

Sacramento, California: January 8-10, 2027, Capital Sports Center, McClellan. Early registration on or before December 18, 2026. Event page

Evansville, Indiana: January 29-31, 2027. Early registration on or before January 8, 2027. Event page

Then in February and March: Chula Vista CA, Lancaster PA and Salt Lake City UT (Feb 5-7); College Station TX, Morristown NJ and Newberry FL (Feb 12-14); Chula Vista CA, Fiskdale MA, Monroe WA, Rockford MN and Wheaton IL (Feb 19-21); Albuquerque NM, Hattiesburg MS, Mason MI and Yankton SD (Feb 26-28); Harrisonburg VA (Mar 5-7). USA: RUSHMORE RUMBLE 2027

January 8-10, 2027, Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis IN. An Indoor World Series (IWS 500) ranking event during ATA Trade Show week. Open to all archers, with no membership needed. Early registration closes December 29, 2026. Event page

USA: 2027 INDIANA STATE AND OPEN INDOOR JOAD CHAMPIONSHIP

January 23, 2027, Outdoorsman's Sport Shop, Greenwood IN. Entries close January 18, 2027. Event page

YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES: DAKAR 2026

Archery at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games starts this week at Abdoulaye Wade Stadium, Diamniadio. Australia has Brock Penna and Ellen Martini (both recurve). The US has Aarya Arun and Ye-eun Whang. The ranking round is on November 6, 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Perth time (4:30 am to 7:00 am US Eastern). Eliminations follow on November 7, the men's finals on November 8, the women's finals on November 9 and the mixed team event on November 10. The schedule may change.
